Highland Park will play either Frisco or The Colony in a 4A Div. I bi-district playoff 11/16 at Apogee Stadium in Denton.

Finally. We should have been doing this last year, too.

There was a HS game at Apogee last year and this will be the scond game this season.

Yes, Argyle Liberty Christian played at Apogee a couple of Fridays ago.

The good news is that High School games are not being played anymore during Saturdays. From 2007-2010 we had at least one high school team on the field on Saturdays.

Thats hilarious!! we still have some high school kids but are mixing it up with college football players we are on our way to being a solid team with MAC's recruits

Not until there are beer concessions. Then I imagine it'll be reality.

I'm pretty sure they can sell beer during a concert. Just not during any NCAA event. I could be wrong though

I also could be wrong, but I don't think there is a license outside the club.

The license for beer/wine, liqour would be a picnic/caterers license held by the vendor. So a vendor would bid to sell inside apogee or outside apogee etc. The school/AD would accept the bid they liked best - perhaps a flat fee from the vendor or less money up front with a backend deal of % of each unit sold etc etc. The school doesn't hold the license the vendor does. The vendor staffs, stocks and sells. This is already happening with The Club level. Metzlers bid to be the provider and won. But the license doesn't belong to the club level per se. If the school allowed it Metlzers could use that same catering license downstairs.
