The kid has tweeted a few things about UNT over the past several months

I can't recall exactly , but he's talked about him & another kid possibly coming here , said UNT will be doing big things , made himself on NCAA 13 for UNT , tweeted about Lance last night ....

This is all over a 6 month span or so. Save yourself some time & just take my word for it because he's almost at 20,000 tweets!

I think he would be a welcome addition.

Played against him my junior year when he was a sophomore at Cedar Hill. He was definitely a talent but never really found a position and never really got tall. He didn't look great in the UA all american game at cornerback but that's the hardest position in football playing against some top tier talent. I could see him at least being a solid return man for us, as we know those guys don't grow on trees and he is capable.

I agree that he would be a welcome addition for the reasons mentioned above. He should be excellent on returns and could spend some time in the receiver rotation where his size is less of a detriment and his speed a real plus.

I specifically recall a comment made by him and his father that said he "only" got offers from a few small schools like UNT. So, he was going to a prep school to boost his stock.

No thanks little NEON! Not welcome here.

On the recruiting trail Sanders Jr. is reporting offers from North Texas and Houston and that list has stayed pretty consistent since the last time he updated things with Scout.com in the state playoffs.

"Same thing, same as last time," Sanders Jr. Informed.

"I hope something opens up, but if not I have to take a hard look at the two I have and I am going to make the best out of it."

"I have been to a North Texas game. I have been to Houston. I have been to one of their camps. Both are pretty good schools."

His father was good. Doesn't mean the son is. Best of luck to him, he will need it trying to fill Dads shoes.

Kind of like when Mike Irving's little brother tried to play at UNT. He was pathetic with a huge mouth. Needless to say he couldn't hold his brothers jock strap.

Not a good signing for SMU. They lost their entire offense line last year and their best players this year are seniors. Not too impressed with the recruiting class for 2013 so far. May end up in a bowl this year because CUSA is so bad.
