1. DMac is getting the "right" kind of players those others are just getting some guys

2. no one wants to play at SMU because we have better attendance

3. no one wants to play at SMU or UH because they will be in the Big East

4. SMU will fall apart if JJ is fired and we will steal all their top recruits based on now playing more Texas teams in CUSA

5. everyone lowers the rankings of players when they sign with north Texas and raises them when they sign with AQ conference teams like most of the rest of those

6. we don't give chicken away

7. what will losing do to UTSA and their recruiting

8. TxState will suffer like we did in the belch

9. this is just one writers opinions and ignores that we are like #109 in Scout team rankings which puts us solidly in the lower middle of the belt and in the upper lower of CUSA

I know rankings don't mean everything, but it is quite obvious we don't have much talent right now. It's not X's and O's it's the jimmies and joes.

Yep. Pretty much sums it up, especially the smu-hp stuff. Quite possibly, your best post.

Since transfers count as part of the 25, why can't we include them with this class? Might move us up a notch or two.

But, yeah. Recruiting is a concern. There's still some good ones possible but the situation doesn't look great at the moment.

Where was T-Mitch ranked...where did he sign? Where is he playing now? Yes, "transfers" should count (not sure T Mitch is really a transfer and I know he plays BB, but you get my drift....I hope).

Mac is bringing a certain type of player. We will see. He doesn't want the gunslingers that get the 4 stars, he's going ground and pound.
