Glad we are going to CUSA but dang the Belt looks stronger and faster than what CUSA is throwing out there right now.

If you would have said that by WK 10 there would be three, possibly four (if we lose to ASU this weekend) Sun Belt teams with six wins, I would have called, "Bull Sh!t"

But man, I can't believe what I'm seeing this year from some of these teams... the Sun Belt has gotten stronger.

ULM (6-2), MTSU (6-3), WKY (6-3)... and knocking on the door is ASU (5-3)

Pretty fun game to watch. Just goes to show how far behind these two teams talent wise also.

Not sure how a team that NT beat by 52 last year is within one year way ahead of NT in talent.

MT seldom does well in the recruiting ratings, but I did notice a lot of "power school" transfers.

I suspect stronger than CUSA with all the bottom feeders that USA has this year. Hope the SBC and USA get to face off in two bowls this year to help settle the question.

Their Florida State transfer is the one who intercepted DT. They have talent on that roster ask WKU.

That game last year meant absolutely nothing....it isnt even worth comparing the games. MTSU is looking like the 2nd best team in conference right now. All I know is we have trouble with any team that ups the tempo of the game. Which is why I think we actually have a shot verus WKU.

Why would it mean absolutely nothing?

I think it is a fair question: how did a team we smothered last year suddenly become good enough for 2nd in the conference?

I don't like over-analyzing things, either, but I don't think you can just dismiss what other programs have done to get better because it might refute your argument.

Last game of a terrible season. Called checking it in. I don't see what is so hard to understand.

Come on, yes they quit last year but I am not sure how with the great talent advantage you feel they have that they could have got beat that bad.

MTSU won what 3 games last year I guess they checked it in a lot earlier than the last game of the year.

I guess I am blind I didn't see a big talent difference between MTSU and NT. What I did see was a boatload of NT defensive mistakes.
