AS I SAID THESE LAST 3 GAMES HAVE SETH LITTREAL WRITTEN ALL OVER THEM....6 WINS AND A ASS WHOOPIN IN A 2nd TIER BOWL. AND THOSE THAT BITCHED ABOUT PARKING....DON'T WORRY ABOUT IT FOR ECU. THIS FOOTBALL TEAM IS SCREWED WITH MORRIS AS HFC AND WITH MOSELY AS AD. Just typical NT BS. I don't see how we keep Cobb... There is bound to be a special place in heaven for long term NT football fans. Y'all bitch about DD all you want but his teams usually played to the top of their conference level.- 1

Two things that standout in the stat lines to me. Time Of Possession: sa had the ball nearly 20 minutes longer than we did. And, 3rd Down Conversion: sa converted 10 of 18 3rd downs. We only converted 2 of 11. Thats devastating to an already struggling defense, time and effort wise. Then you compound wasting that effort away by pissing away the easy points afforded you by gambling on 4th downs inside the 30. Maybe our FG kicker has the shanks or something? But to me changing D coordinators isn’t going to fix all of our problems because right now we have no idea how to manage a 60 minute football game, which is Classic Air Raid. Rick -

Why Support this Program?….Seriously!?
Yep, and thanks. So, are MSU and UTSA the only 2 ranked opponents we’ve ever beaten? I can’t find a good resource for that info but did hear it announced during the Army game. If so, that’s even more pathetic than I first thought: one win was via forfeit and the other was against a startup program. -

Why Support this Program?….Seriously!?
Agreed. Similar case can be made for Simon, as he coached in the first few years of our return to D1 when half our games were body bag games. And the guys preceding him were playing D-2 schedules. But, the point is we are historically a really bad program no matter who is coaching, which conference, classification or stadium we’re playing in. Any time a UNT coach has success, we worry he will use as a stepping stone to a better program. We should be so lucky. Hugh Freeze, Mario Cristobal, Lane Kiffin are three former conference opponent coaches that immediately come to mind, now coaching P5 schools.
