Absolute head scratchers. Why not stick with higher percentage plays (certainly not one that relies on Thompson's passing) and your star player (Jimmerson). Or just take the damn points with a field goal.

I think the failed 4th down play was an option call - DT had the option to throw to the open receiver. So instead of hitting the underneath slant for a first down DT throws into triple coverage on a fade and ... as usual ... overthrew the receiver.

Why we ever give the ball to Brown on 3rd down is beyond me. Why we ever give it to him is another valid question, I REALLY don't like when touches the ball.

There is no excuse for this game. This is worse than FIU last year, Rice 5 years ago etc. This is in the Dodge realm of ineptness, and I'm sorry but Mac's seat just started to warm a little for me. We have looked terrible in every phase today, absolutely terrible. If I hear one f'ing word about how young this team is, or how we're under the scholarship limit after the game that makes the seat warmer IMO. No more excuses, no more bullshit, why is this team so Jekyle and Hyde?
