Was this taken at the same time as the Basketball Times cover shoot?

I like! Is it wrong to hope the Mavs suck so they can take him as a lottery pick?

No, no it is not. I'm hoping the same for my Celtics. Championship or suck, those are the only two things I'll take from them this year. If they get out to a bad start, I'll be rooting for them to lose every night. TM would fit that team perfectly...imagine Rondo to TM lobs???

One thing: Why is it that anytime TM is advertised somewhere that mentions him averaging a double double, they refer to him as the ONLY freshman to do so last year? Um.....there was this dude, with a certain ugly eyebrow problem....I think he went to some school in the backwoods ironically enough? Rumor has it he's moved south to New Orleans? Oh yeah, that's right, Anthony Davis from Kentucky...number one overall pick; he averaged a double double as well. I don't want to place false blame anywhere, but I'm pretty sure that it was our athletic dept's marketing team who continually overlooked that one.

That is only on the poster, in the all SBC press release

Named a Preseason All-American by numerous national publications, Mitchell joined Kentucky’s Anthony Davis as the only freshmen in the country to average a double-double in 2011-12. In league-only games, Mitchell led the Sun Belt in scoring (15.9 PPG), rebounding (11.8 RPG), 3-point percentage (47.1), blocks (3.1 BPG), and was also second in field goal percentage (58.1).

But to make the statement correct all that NT needs to do is put he is the only player to average a double double as a freshman averaging under 30 mins per game

Tony Mitchell

29.4 mins, 10.3 reb, 14.7 points

Anthony Davis

32.0 min, 10.4 reb. 14.2 points

Or

The only returning freshman to average a double double.
