Virus Affecting Your PC?

MSN reports a worm is invading Windows98 and Windows XP...I have the latter software. Any of you found out how to repair this yet? You cannot get thru to Compaq technical support as they haven been inundated with calls.

THIS IS WHAT HAPPENS ON MY HOME PC: When I log in, a screen that pops up in less than 5 minutes says, SYSTEMS SHUTDOWN (RPC); then it tells you to shut down your computer or lose all your programs.

Any recommendations?

Son of a bi---! That was so frustrating. I just downloaded the patch that is supposed to prevent this worm from entering my system again. It better work!
