Now that I’ve had a chance to catch some sleep, I’m back with a few follow-up thoughts on UUNT’s win over ULL.

It really was a testament to how UNT’s program has changed and is continuing to change.

That was just that type of game UNT used to lose in the past. It was close late and UNT needed to make a play.

UNT never made those plays in the past — or at least didn’t tend to make them nine times out of 10.

This time UNT did make the play. Antoinne Jimmerson caught a short pass and took it 78 yards for the game-winning touchdown.

All of the sudden UNT is in the second half of the season and still has hopes of hanging around in the Sun Belt race after winning its second straight league game.
