I'm bringing some firsttimers to the game and I'm trying to get a feel for the tailgatting situation on Tuesday.

1. Does anyone know if the Bud/Miller tailgate areas are going to be at Tuesday's game?

2. Do you plan to change your tailgating routine because of the new bridge? Fouts vs the Hill vs Stadium lots.

not changing where i tailgate...the bridge is cool and will help with students/others that park on campus, but it changes nothing for me.

edit: taking off half a day tuesday and all day wednesday...plan to be set up by 1 pm...drinking by 12.47...

sitter will be at the house at 4:00 so wife and I should be out there at 4:30ish. Can't wait to cook a great dinner, have some beverages, and watch UNT football. This breaks up the week so nicely. We're in the red/blue lot over by the portable police station. Feel free to stop by and join us. Our UNT flag pole has a football on top.

We also are hiring a sitter. My wife and I got a free parking pass for Club Seats we won. I think the lot I can park in is next to Athletic building. I'll look again tonight. Should be there about 5:45ish. Looking forward to meeting more of you. -J

All this talk of sitters, am I the only one who brings their kid to the game?

I like to stay 'til the end. With an 8pm kickoff, game should end about 11:30 putting me home about 12:30. Not happening for my kids on a school night.

I bring my kids, but tomorrow morning they've gotta get up at 6am, so they're not coming tonight. I'm not getting to the game myself until 8:45 or so due to class. I won't be there long, but I'm going for as long as I can!

Both should be there of you want to buy over priced crap beer then feel obligated to tip. Lol

I think our group is still planning on tailgating on the hill

Since we wont be getting there until an hour and a half or so before kickoff we won't be able to conduct our normal tailgate. However, I would like to partake in consumption of some adult beverages. Therefore, my question is how over priced is the Miller tent (no interest in pitbull sponsor Bud light)? Is it expensive enough to justify hauling our own cooler?

For those that care, the pedestrian bridge dedication is set for 5:00. I may never walk over the bridge again so I'm starting my evening on the Fouts side.
