You made the right choice

...you sure have to be happy to still be a NT fan. At least if you are watching OU-UT right now. UT looks absolutely terrible, worse than we ever have under Coach Mac.

Gilbert stunk and continues to stink at SMU. I agree about Mac Brown doing so little with a loaded deck every year.

Glad to see UT not only lose, but get blown out. Programs with the size of their ego can't handle these type of loses very well. I am sure an internal melt down (and possibly external with the fans) is in progress as we speak. Great day today.

Interesting to me that so many Texans would get so much joy out of seeing a team from Oklahoma beat Texas. Really interesting I think....

A good friend of mine played for OU under Switzer. Most of OU's roster is full of Texas players. This isn't a state of Texas vs the state of Oklahoma to quite a few people...

I hear this argument way too much. Why should someone from Texas owe an allegiance to UT? Why does the location matter? It's not like OU is from an enemy country or something. Hell, most of their players are FROM TEXAS. I dislike UT probably because I come in contact with more UT bandwagon fans than any other University. That, and I think it's funny how much money they spend, yet rarely yield results. They're basically the Yankees of college football, but at least the Yankees win. Sure, they caught lightning in a bottle with Vince Young, but they have no excuse to ever go 5-7. And no, I don't like OU either. I wish they could both lose every week, but unfortunately they have to play each other once a year.

Just because I share a state with something doesn't mean I have to support it. I don't support a team just because I exist on the same chunk of dirt it does. I support it if I've got emotional attachment to it, and I've got none of that for UT.

There are more than twice as many players on OU's roster from Texas as there are from Oklahoma. Interesting to me that you infer that OU's team is from Oklahoma.

I'm shocked and dismayed at the attitude of some Texans toward ut. No, not really. I was out bow hunting with my son and missed the game. I never thought I would be happy about ut having their own network, but not in this case as I got to see every glorious moment of the Red River Rout.

The best part is the longhorn network keeps playing it over and over. Ironic isn't it.

If you aren't from Texas you may never totally understand why some of us relish moments like this.

      Somebody really needs to get a hold of Jared Mosely. All the heat is on Morris when it also needs to be directed on our AD. What is he going to demand from his head football coach? Will he just pat him on the back and say get ‘em next season? Where’s the leadership in this university? Where are the standards to achieve greatness? All I hear are crickets from our athletic department. Really sad.

      Weeks ago, people were saying we’d be undefeated if we also played Army’s schedule. Total nonsense. This is our team…every year! Undisciplined, out of position, bullied, outcoached. Morris is simply unprepared to lead this team with his lack of tactics and expertise. You can get away with it in the lower levels, but not up here. It’s unfortunate we’re stuck with this “what could’ve been” talk for 3 more years.

      I know you young guys hate when one of us old farts try to tell you what to do. But trust me on this. Don't walk.....run away from this program...as fast as you can. Get into something else. Anything. Bowling. Archery. Oragami. Japanese Anime. Anything. Heck....even becoming a serial killer would be a better use of your time. You could become the MGSK....and make a name for yourself and the school. And to really throw off the police....on each of your victims....you could put one of our 107 logos. They'd have no clue what that means....since we have no clue what our real logo is....either. Also, each week when you go out on a "kill".....wear a different uniform....as that seems to be a really big deal around here. In all honesty, I really wouldn't want any of you to get into serial killing. But, if you do....and you see me getting in my car to go to the East Carolina game....please make me one of your victims.
