I talk about UNT focusing on the running game at the top of it. It’s something I mentioned briefly on the blog yesterday. I was really surprised that UNT didn’t run the ball better. FAU stacked the line of scrimmage all night and dared UNT to throw it.

I thought McCarney’s comment on how teams will take that approach the rest of the season was telling. Outside of Brelan Chancellor, UNT’s passing game doesn’t strike a lot of fear in opponents.

Del Gato has his moments. I often wonder if our TEs can catch because we hardly ever throw to them.

Catch what? From who? The TEs are not getting an opportunity to catch passes. Power was the #1 rated TE in SC coming out of high school.

I totally had to look him up again, knowing he was not really from Southlake Carroll.
