Im so torn on taking the day off to go to Houston. They looked pretty good today and i just plain dont trust our offense.

I'm making the trip , but our chances to win are slim to none

offense is too predictable and execution is weak. It seems that our coaches cannot adjust during the game.

Disagree. Offense is predictable because execution is weak. Game time coaching isn't terrible, but preparation on execution (practice) appears to be lacking. Coaches turtled when it was obvious execution was going to be an issue during the game.

Do our running plays seem to take forever to get going? No quick handoffs at all.

Problem is not play calling or play design. PROBLEM is no QB and defenses don't have to fear the pass at ALL!!!!!THOMPSON can't hit anything more then 5 yards down the field and everyone in the stadium knows it!!!!

Well, at least more than 2 people caught passes this week, and Miller for the touchdown. I was glad to see Brown, reported to have some speed, catch 2 (1 for 21). And, in the end, they did what they had to. But, yeah, we need to score more points, what with the teams like LA Monroe coming up.

1.we still run our offense like Lance is here.

2. We are to predictable.

3. Utilize more pass play that allow yards after the catch. Short throws. Our QB is not accurate long.

4. Get out of the 2 tight end offense go with more relievers. This offense we are in now will not survive in the CUSA.

1. We have 2, sometimes 3 capable backs with an offensive line that should be able to make more holes. But, when your qb isn't accurate, it's easy to stack a line.

2. See 1, qb is innacurate and limits what can be done.

3. you're right, our qb isn't accurate. That's why we throw a lot of screens, and still are incomplete.

4. Our personnel is not conducive to dodge ball any longer. We do not have more WR, unless you want to get out on the field and catch a ball. Tell me this: How many of our WR on the roster now were offered schollys prior to stepping on campus?

This is very bad. Today the absence of Power and Smith to block on the edges showed up. It's not Canales' fault; his hands are very tied by the QB's limitations. Where is 81 at? He was solid last year. This is just very very bad. Thank goodness for the improved defense!

Canales won't/shouldn't be back.

Its not Chico's offense hes playing, its Macs.. Talk to any Iowa State fan, he old school and runs the ball on first downs and throws when the defense knows it.. Liked the play actions passes, running game wasnt effective, Jimmerson looked great in space
