Sure they have gotten better but I'm sorry guys.... GT is not a Bama, LSU, Georgia or KSU. This is exactly the type of team we need to schedule. GT barely beat the horrible Miami team we saw earlier in the year.

True, but they're historically not push-overs. They've had the 3rd-highest rushing going into this game (yes I realize triple-option will give you those stats).

I spent the first 16 years of my life in Atlanta, and no one would ever ever say that GT is a down and out sort of team. Hiccuping occasionally, but not down and out.

All that being said, MTSU is playing really, really well.

This is crazy regardless of how good GT is in relation to the top dogs. MTSU is awful, they showed that week 1 and their 2 wins over the literal worst 2 FBS teams cannot be looked at as if they've rebounded, this is essentially the same team that went 2-10 and that lost 59-7 to a team that completed 2 passes.

That being said, even though I hate MTSU more than any other Sun Belt school for some reason, I'm totally rooting for them today, and not even because it will make us look better when we beat them. I love upsets, and they are not even close to being on the same level talent-wise that GT is. I know that GT is not exactly a top 15 team this year, but still, this is Georgia Tech, the Georgia Tech that has won the ACC and been to BCS bowls in recent memory....it isn't like they're playing one of the pseudo-BCS schools that are actually bottomfeeders (Kansas, Indiana, etc.). Good for MTSU.

MTSU up by 2 touchdowns....UNT will have their work cut out for them

Well, Middle kinda makes it look like we can't say they're an easy win. Georgia Tech, however is making it look like no Paul Johnson team really plays much defense. That game at Fouts against his Navy team may have overinflated our offensive stats for that year.

At this point I'd have to agree, but that's based on a small sample size of them playing well. If we were playing them next week I'd be kinda worried, but they have more than enough time to fall back to earth before our game against them.

So you're telling me today might be our only conference win? Possibly South Al, I suppose.

No, we are going to beat USA, but every game the rest of the season is going to be a toss up.
