Glad I'm not the only one who feels "pleaded" sounds wrong. That always bugs me (and know you all know that I spend way too much time worrying about trivial things).

Pleaded is perfectly acceptable to say.

I think the fact that they plead "no contest" pretty much sums it up.

I wasn't implying that they may have not done it. I'm just curious about what went on that got them to that point.

I knew I liked him for a reason. He has a lot of fight. Decision making still needs a little work though.
