Is it time for a Special Teams intervention?

We seem so focused on turnovers that we have forgottten about special teams. I agree with Kram, tired of hearing about coaching experience and past ready for results. We basically GAVE them the ball to start the second half, did not allow our best athlete to return the punts and just can't kick a field goal to help ourselves.

I'm sorry but special teams needs to be priority number UNO! GMG!

Nobody has metioned the Troy almost fake punt. Punter would have easily made it if he decides to run with it. We had nobody within 20 yards, but thankfully he changed his mind.

Kicking is all about confidence. I'm sure him getting benched will do lots of good in that regard(heavy sarcasm). And don't get it twisted, it was Mac's decision to bench him, not Riddles. The fact that you'd rather go for it on 4th and 16 than kick a field goal is so hard-headed. You took 3 chip shot field goals out of your best kickers hands. I don't care if he was 0-2. If you don't have a competent replacement, you should NEVER bench him.

really should have let Olen have the chip shot that the backup missed. Now you have two kickers who are messed up, instead of your started maybe getting some confidence back after an easy one.
