This is why this particular game is so frustrating!! When you have more First Downs, Total Yards, and etc, and you still come away empty handed, man does it hurt. This loss hurts but I like the fact that we arent excepting it. We have moved on, and should have, from all the past comments of how good the other team was and how close we played them. It's time to win all of our Sun Belt games!! Our mental mistakes are killing us, player and coaching mental mistakes. I just hope this is a wakeup call for our team that we haven't arrived yet.

Thing that stuck out to me was only 2 receivers caught passes.

Keep an eye on Bynes. I'm getting frustrated with him. IMO he makes DT look even worse. Multiple times I've seen him give up on routes when the pass looked like it would have been right on Bynes stayed with his speed. There have been other times where he should have laid out or at least gotten his arms out. At times he just doesn't look like he's giving 100%.

One of the coaches hit on this in a post game after one of the earlier games. They didn't call out the player, but I think Bynes was the primary offender.

Didn't Bynes come up gimp after one of the deep balls and not return?

I dont remember it being all that deep, but yes. It happened around mid field. I don't want to see anyone hurt, but I was happy to see an opportunity for someone else to step up.

If someone else was going to step up I'm sure we would've seen them on the field by now

It looked to me like Bynes would take that pass in stride and score. He was 3 yards behind the coverage at full gallop when he went down like he was shot. They worked on his left hamstring on the trainer's bench and I hope it was just a cramp and not a hammie pull.

That's right. It looked like the carpet monster got him. Then I thought cramp, but with him not coming back in, I wonder if he pulled something too.
