How can you compare this team to a Dodge team? Really?!!! Troy put 50 plus up on TD teams and they showed no fight. This team is tough and physical just having offensive struggles. If you can't get excited about this d then I question what you are watching.

Remember me mentioning the committee under Dr. With, the ESPN2 committee specially formed to max out attendance for that game. Do you further remember the announcement for the "Two-for-Tuesday" ticket deal for said game day? $10 for two GA tickets to the Wings. Really nice and all, but I think athletics and Dr. With should bite the financial bullet and go out guns blazing on this one:

Let students have a free +1, heck, just give out as many free tickets as possible. Really, the financial loss in such would be far diminished by the social and perceptive impact of getting Apogee packed for the ESPN2 game. Plus, the perception would carry over into potential viewership and could positively impact for years to come.

Anything and everything should be done to get butts in those seats.

I don't know how anyone can say that Troy has a crappy team. They just have a crappy name for those who haven't been following college football for the better part of the last decade. Having said that, we were the better team and simply blew it for 2 or 3 fairly obvious reasons. I say we come back and win the next two before coming home and continuing that winning streak. DT just needs to get over his Apogeeitis.
