Quarterback Mike Richardson (Marble Falls, Texas/Marble Falls) doesn’t have the big-school offer yet, but he’s hoping his record-setting performance on Thursday might assist in attracting more college recruiters. Richardson, a 6-foot-1, 195-pound quarterback, threw for 725 yards in a 62-55 win against Boerne (Texas) Champion on Thursday, putting himself atop the Texas high school football record books for single-game passing yards.

I would think North Texas has zero chance at this young man, because of who his HS coach is. Could be wrong, but Todd Dodge seems to be the type of person that holds a grudge.

I don't think so. Besides, what would he hold a grudge about? If you would have asked him, he would have told you he would have fired himself had he been in RV's shoes. No doubt the experience left a bad taste in his mouth, but I doubt he would carry a grudge to the degree that he would steer one of his players away from UNT if UNT were truly that player's best option.

The only grudge he should be carrying is against himself.

I am sure he has many things he wishes he would have done differently. starting with assistant coach hires.

But, this kid seems a bit undersized for a QB. Remember, 6'1" listing in high school equates to no greater than 5'11" in person.

Scientist have proven that men can gain in height up until age 25, although most stop growing at the age of 21.

The fact that we are arguing over the recruitability of a 5'11" senior high school QB tells you how bad our QB recruiting has been the last 3 years.
