I know Dodge was a utter failure as a college head coach but on a personal level I always liked the guy. Glad to see he is having some success at the high school level again.

I noticed the other qb threw for 595 yards while Dodge's qb threw for 722 yards.

I'm happy that his team won 62-55. However, it does sound like a typical Dodge team.

Did not like him professionally but liked him as a guy.

One summer when I was a kid, the muffler fell of my brother's car while he was driving. He told me to run back and get it out of the road. I learned a harsh lesson when I picked it up with my bare hands.

The whole Todd Dodge fiasco is sorta like that. It's just something that's kinda hard to forget.

Not to derail a thread, but I just might. I am sooo glad we didn't hire Leach. I know many on here wanted it but I truly think he would have been the wrong guy to help change the culture at NT.

Mendoza was at Cedar Hill for a couple of years after leaving here then went to Springtown (NW of Ft Worth a little ways past Azle). Dunno if he's still there or not.

My old stomping grounds! Its different today then back in the 80s and 90s when the Farmers would fill that place to the brim on Friday nights and steamroll opponents with Wishbone football.
