Happy to see Coach Dodge having some success at marble Falls...that program has not had a lot of success in recent years. Coach Dodge will get that program going in the right direction...way to go Coach Dodge...remember the navy game at UNT?

Painful.

That was the game I was sure Dodge was going to be fine offensively, but he needed a new, experienced D-coordinator...

Then, D-Lo showed up and nothing changed defensively... while the offense started stagnating and we got worse.

Good for coach Dodge and good for Marble Falls... and good for this kid. He now has a record that may only be broken by either himself, or a successor at Marble Falls. We'll see if any colleges take notice.

What if...now stick with me here...what if the Todge/Rodge duo rattles of some 77 straight wins at Marble Falls around the same time we happen to be looking for a new head coach...everyone deserves second chances right?

"BOERNE — Marble Falls quarterback Mike Richardson was at a loss for words after his team's 62-55 win over Boerne Champion at BISD Stadium on Thursday."

62-55? Looks like Dodge hasn't learned how to coach defense or learned how to find a coach that can do it for him.

And that's the problem.

....."His counterpart's performance was nearly as remarkable. Champion quarterback Kyle Poeske threw for 595 yards — tying him for the No. 4 all-time mark — on 36 of 60 passing....."

It's win in the books for Coach Dodge and Marble Falls...good for Coach Dodge.

Yes, Riley is no longer at Marble Falls...believe he is coaching at A&M as a grad assistant...I wonder how his Longhorn Dad likes that one? ha! Am sure he's plenty fine with it if it helps Riley progress in his coaching career. Good luck, Coach Dodge.
