The DMN poll has SMU at #7, which is better than having UTSA there, but not by that much. Both papers are just being good homers and selling papers. Outside of those homer picks, though, I think the polls are both pretty accurate.

Any pole that has UTSA ranked as the 7th team in the state has zero credibility.

Just sayin...

"Honey, you got a letter in today from Texas University of San Antonio...!". "Shall I open it or wait for you to get home from school?". "Your dad and I are so excited and proud of you!!". "I just know you will be accepted!"

So you think they are better than SMU, Houston, UTEP, Texas St., Sam Houston St., Lamar...?

Why have you become a UTSA shill?

Well I don't think they deserve to be number 7 either but I just don't hate them as much as everybody else seems to. I say they're in our conference now and we make the best of it. I also look forward to building a rivalry with a Texas team and trips to SA.

Football rivals hate each other.

And I hope we don't play Texas St. for the next 6 years.
