How do you let K-State return the kickoff for the touchdown --- it essentially kills your entire momentum and everything you had accomplished in the game. I'm not trying to dogpile - because I know K-State has athletes and they always will - but you gotta get that fixed quickly...GMG!

Our special teams cost us the game, period. Coach Riddle needs to step up. I have a feeling McCarney's going to tear him a new one.

I'm sure you could hear a ripping sound while the game was still going on. Mac doesn't seem to be a shrinking violet when it comes to letting people know what he thinks.

Despite all of the bad calls, which we expect, the killer was the bobbled pass that was ruled a TD. I think at that point, we knew that we would have to play perfect ball on top of several KSU mistakes to win.

Special teams play has been an issue since the Dodge era.

The second review was an obvious TD for KSU...the first one on the bobble, I honestly think was a toss up. The ball moved a bit, but he had both arms around it. Can't expect to get that call on the road.

We competed well, just need to quit giving up the big plays.

Karl Benson paid off the sun belt refs in anger for North Texas leaving for CUSA.

One of the worst officiating I've seen since the last sun belt game I watched.

They missed a block in the back and a hold on the return which was the biggest.

Never seen the sun belt overturn a ruling on the field. Decided to do it tonight on plays that left me speechless.

I can not f^]*]^#* wait for CUSA and better officiating.

You saw "indisputable" evidence that Klein got that ball across the plane?

I think that his second effort barely put the ball across the plain of the endzone. The first review was terrible! By the time he had both arms around the ball, his foot was out of bounds. Easy call.

If ifs and buts were candy and nuts, we'd all have a merry Christmas.

We played a good game and we are light years from where we were a year and half ago, we keep improving and we will win these games. I will see you all at the bowl game this year. We will win 7 or more.

Special teams and consertive calls when oline had momentum.

I don't understand people saying "conservative" playcalling is a killer. What exactly is "conservative playcalling?"

What I saw was an extremely effective O-line pushing the KSSt defense around for the most part. If our O-line is that effective, we had better be running the ball behind them, and that's exactly what we did. It was effective for the entirety of the game. If we're just chunking the ball down the field, chances are, we're going to be facing alot of 3-&-outs, and pissing away the strength of the team.

As they say, If it ain't broke, don't try to throw the deep ball... or something like that.

Very nice playcalling tonight from Chico. He mixed in Chancellor on the run game, and apparently Chancellor is the man in Wildcat formations too! Chico got the ball in his hands often. He mixed in short passes as well.

Special teams... ouch! Needs work. Of course, getting burned on ST has been a staple around here since 2007. Strange that despite several different ST coaches, any kick is still a nail-biting play, and not because it's a long FG attempt or something, but because we hope it doesn't get blocked...

Gotta wonder if the pressure up the middle on both blocks (FG & PAT) is because of Dunham? Chain only as strong as it's weakest link.

Pretty clear that he broke the plain.

I am REALLY looking forward to UNT vs Georgia next year, not to mention conference play this year.

Good things.

Personally. the only conservatism that I'm complaining about is not going for the jugular on 4th down, when you're deep in the home teams territory, and that home team is a ranked team and we a still very much in the game Ya just got to go for it when you are an on the road underdog. I haven't really thought about the long snapper factor, but it's certainly worth a film look.

The fact is, we score and take the lead. You do not intentionally allow them a kick return. You have nothing to gain. Maybe olen didn't hit it right, but to me it looked like a set call. You have to eliminate big plays, not give them an opportunity for one that negates your previous drive. Our kick coverage is suspect and we should know that. Changed the game. Nothing went our way after...

I'm referring to not going for it on 4th and 1(or less) when the oline had dominated the line of scrimmage. There were two specific times I that I personally believe we should have went for it.

Once in the second half when the special teams had shown to be ineffective and K State O was looking like it wasnt going to be stopped.

Other than that, I had no complaints. Great game plan.

Special teams was bad! even atterberry was bad tonight.

if anyone has the game taped, go back and look at how far down olen went on the return for a td. he was inside their 40 and i think past their 35! isn't he supposed to be the safety net? why the hell was he so far down the field?

While I agree that we should've gone for it on 4th down, the play that actually really killed this thing last night was the 3rd and 1 delay to Brown. UNT was winning battles at the line of scrimmage and picking up positive yards every time we ran 2 TE/FBs and just let the O-Line smack someone. That play should've been off Lemon to Byrd or Jimmerson with Power and Miller leading the way...Dickey style. Canales got far too cute.

Anytime you are depending on your kicker to make a tackle, you are in serious trouble.
