Same HS as Chris Jones.

Interesting.

He plays AAU with a group of Garland area kids. Chris Jones was actually mentoring him this summer (during a couple of games at the IAD in Carrollton). Kid went from total obscurity to a top 2014 prospect overnight. Certainly not ready for prime time any time soon but the kid is physically imposing on the court (in the mold of Shaquille O'Neil) Very mechanical and slow at this time but has skills for a big man. Current ranking, i'm convinced, is based 100% on potential. (Not worthy of a 4 * at this time).
