Not this time, but they look damn good. If most of us on this board were happy with the LSU result we certainly would be happy with a result like ulm is throwing out there.

I'm impressed ....they lost 28-31 to Auburn.... had 8 more first downs.... 7 less yards .... and lost in overtime ... and in a week after defeating Arkansas.... and not a fluke game there either.

Wonder how LaTech feels because they apparently are always trashing La-Monroe.... although they defeated Houston last week.

The reality in which CUSA and SBC are in a perception battle, and our allegiances are no longer with the SBC.

Huh? We are in the SBC this season so we should care about the SBC. If the SBC looks stronger this year, that only makes us look stronger moving to CUSA next year.

The fact that the SBC is having and up year & CUSA is having a down year won't matter next year with mass conference realignment takes place.

ULM trying to get the body bag games off their schedule for good. "[insert high ranking university name here] doesn't want to play ULM. Look what they did to Arkansas and almost did to Auburn."

We should care about the conference we will be in for the next 5 years or so more than the one that contributed to holding us back for a decade, and the last thing we need is for the conference we are leaving to pass the new one. People need to let go of whatever sentimental feelings they have for the SBC and move on. As far as I'm concerned we are a member of conference USA, and its the perception of CUSA that is important.

That's why I said contributed. I think it is hard to argue that things would not be a bit different had we been in CUSA ten years ago.

Ten years ago we were just thankful not to be in the Big West.
