ODU Asking CUSA For Help With 8 Games In 2014

Old Dominion athletic director Wood Selig has asked Conference USA to provide the Monarchs with eight football opponents in 2014.

According to www.fbsschedules.com, which tracks the future schedules of FBS teams, seven C-USA teams have open dates in 2014, not including UNC Charlotte - East Carolina, Marshall, Southern Mississippi, Tulsa, Rice, North Texas and Texas-El Paso.

Bring them in. A chance to go 3-1 in OOC with the possibility of Rice, UTEP, UTSA also as home games. Could set up for a nice year

Wouldn't this be a scenario where we would be a "conference" game? Kinda like this year's game against provisional South Alabama? We wouldn't have to play them outside of our conference slate since they are provisionally joining our conference.

Good point, but I thought when we 1st played WKU it was considered a OOC game? Or am I mistaken
