The protestors have a right to peacefully assemble. What the DailyKOS is not reporting (which comes as no surprise to me) is that these protestors have been harassing capitol staffers for over a year. That's not peacefully assembling, that's being a nuisance. The code they are violating is clearly there to prevent intentional interference of state workers conducting their daily activities.

If they don't like the law, they should have it changed. If they think it is unconstitutional, they have recourse in the courts. But don't be shocked if you get arrested when you go out of your way to violate the law.

Chris Taylor out of line for questioning the capital police on why her constituents were being arrested for holding up a quotation of our Constitutional right to free speech?
