Along with inviting Notre Dame, the ACC also says it has increased its exit fees for the conference's schools to three times the annual operation budget -- which would currently come to more than $50 million.

Does anyone think they'll be adding a 16th (most likely non-football)? and if so, who?

as it stands, my bet is that they go to three 5 team divisions

I doubt they add a 16th team right now. If I was the ACC I'd wait to see if I could get ND to go full time in football. Then you could add a football school to get to an even 16. If they do add a non-football school I think Georgetown would be most logical. CBS has a story up talking about them adding another school (I don't get Louisville/UConn b/c that puts you at 15 for football unless you don't bring over their football teams).

I don't know if NBC will re-up ND when their current TV deal is done. If they don't, I would bet ND looks for a conference home. The ACC will now be that home unless they are going to pay the exit fees and take all sports somewhere else which would be unlikely.
