Darn, sorry to hear that about Ladner; I remember last year seeing him on the sidelines working to get the crowd involved. I was glad to see him getting those carries, and thought he looked impressive with what he was asked to do. It was interesting reading about Ladner last year; anybody thinking there aren't still hard working folks in small towns and in the country should look at his story.

Coach Mac mentioned that he hopes to see him back again . . . I have no idea what the chances of that happening are, but it sounds like the door is still open for him. Coach Mac had several good words about him.

Any word from Mac about when Brock will start practicing with the team?

Having him now will help out tremendously this week to prepare for the dual threat QB Klein of KSU.

Coach MaC went out of his way not to mention Brock's name. Probably some NCAA rule. He named every QB on the team.

It was fun to see so many members of the Mean Green family out last night. Everyone should try to come out next week. Good stuff.

Once a commit signs, the coaching staff can talk as much about him as they want.

But I think Coach Mac smartly want to avoid his becoming a distraction.

Had a great time at the Coach mac show last evening...saw some "new faces" as well in attendance...good crowd...good show. If you have not attended one of these in person and are close enough to do so...I highly recommend your dropping by and seeing how it goes for yourself. Lots of Mean green nation members attend...Rudy's has great food and cold beer! What's not to like...come on by...let's make 'em give us the BIG ROOM!
