The Sun Belt slate for one of the more interesting weeks in the league in recent history is over. And that can only mean one thing — it’s time for the Sun Belt/DFW stock report:

DFW

Stock up

North Texas – No one on planet reality thought UNT would upset LSU on the road to open the season, but nearly everyone thought the Mean Green would take care of business at home against Texas Southern. UNT did just that in a 34-7 win and picked up some confidence along the way.

SMU – The Mustangs were in the same boat as UNT heading into the weekend and were impressive in a 52-0 win over Stephen F. Austin. SMU evened its record at 1-1. The Mustangs had to have that game considering it has already lost to Baylor and has Texas A&M this week.

TCU – The Frogs hammered Grambling 56-0 in a glorified scrimmage.
