what stands out to me is our average yd, 6, per pass. we need to establish an intermediate game....20 - 40 yds. then we took the 2nd and 3rd qtrs off on offense all together. very seldom did we try to get outside and tsu bunched us up between the tackles....we ran a true option look one time that got good yardage. happy for the win, dont get me wrong...but this was a not a good offensive performance.

Agree. As someone mentioned in another thread, I'm hoping that Canales was using tonight to get game experience with longer downfield passes. Would have been nice if they worked out, but I'm hoping that going into K-State we'll stick with the running package and short passes/screens to consistently chip away at them and have a much more consistent offense.

Umm, that would be a pro-team. Yes the passing game needs improving, but we all know there is no quarterback tree.

The bigger concern is the number of third and 5+ situations we in.
