We've broken out the Inverted Wishbone a few times this year. 2 tight ends up to block with a deep back.

That formation is usually referred to as stone. I like when we get in that, but I would also like if we got in wishbone a little, so long as it worked of course.

WISHBONE...with the right personnel....it is unstoppable. But you need a bruising FB and lighting quick TB's and a QB that thrives on hitting or being hit. Hard to find all 4 on the field at one time today.

My high school ran this offense. MOST BORING OFFENSE EVER

When the entire wing-T playbook is utilized and executed effectively out of different wing-T formation sets, the defensive confusion created by the multiple misdirections, deception, and play-fakes is a thing of beauty. Harold "Tubby" Raymond perfected this at the University of Delaware and had great success and some pretty exciting offenses winning 3 national championships during his tenure from 1966 to 2001 (albeit at the division 2 level). It wouldn't have success at the D1 level anymore but it's still a fun system to watch if run the right way.
