So I was wondering, when was the last time a college football game went into overtime, or ended altogether, absolutely scoreless? People occasionally bring up the highest-scoring games, quarters, etc., but I'm curious about the opposite. I would guess that before changes in OT rules, there were probably a few games that ended with no scoring, but I don't recall seeing any that went into OT with a 0-0 score since I started paying attention about 15 years ago. Anybody?

I think the last 0-0 tie was Oregon vs. Oregon St in the 80's before they had overtime. Have no idea about 0-0 going into OT.

Thanks guys, that covers one half of the question and brings up another part; what year did OT begin?
