NCAA Tournament Thread
I'm not sure kids went out of state to win as much as they went out of state to places that cared. At many/most Texas localities, they don't even really get into basketball season until football season is over. Not just college football, but pro too! Why stay in Texas when you could goto Kansas or whatever, and be the big man on campus? -

But is a final four consisting of all the 1-seeds really any better? This tournament honestly kinda sucked this season. I’ve preferred the NIT games a lot more, but maybe that’s just me.- 1

For sure…that’s a long list of great players. I think that also played into wanting Texas teams to win to show kids they didn’t have to go out of state to win. This is a moot point nowadays. I couldn’t tell you how many TT of UH players are from Texas.- 1
