Prove it. Be the feature in one of the half-time shows.

Show us what you got. Let's hear a new percussion composition similar to "Across the Heartland" and "The 747" that was performed by the 80's drumline.

i agree with silver. the drumline is fabulous, so showcase them. the first home game or two, it seems the gb doesa song or two while marching, then does a song for the dance team, play the fight song then leave. add the percussion feature in there...plenty of time (maybe not this week since tsu is bringing their band).

the entire drumline is too good not to be flaunted. hopefully, this can be done with all the lines (a, b, etc.) and not just whoever is on marching that game. in my day, the lines were rotated out, so the best drummers weren't always marching. don't know if that is the case now.

The problem is, the drumline is not the only uber-talented group. I'd like to see the 'bones get 2:44 as well! Where do the highlights end?

I once met one of your cohorts in II Charlies. While it seemed she was one helluva trombone player, she had very little memory of the GB as she was mostly deeply, um...medicated by halftime.

LOL! Before I opened the thread, I knew you'd have commented.

Congrats Green Brigade. Damn right!
