Gotta give props to Cyril Lemon

The entire o-line played well at times but I gotta say it, Cyril Lemon was just terrific. If you watch the video on one of the long Jeremy Brown runs, Lemon pancakes the LSU tackle. He's only a sophomore. Boy -- this kid is going to be something special by the time he's finished out here.

Absolutely agree! Great find in recruiting by Coach Mac and staff; and hopefully all of these young lineman who have signed in the past two years and committed for 2013 can learn something from Cyril.

The offensive line was really impressive overall. Even in the 1st quarter when we were getting blown out. Plays were there to be made, we just didn't have anyone make one. If I hadn't known better, I wouldn't have thought they were playing LSU. I don't know how LSU compares to Alabama, but last year, whenever we tried to run the ball in that game early against Alabama, it was a train wreck.

There were several passing plays when I just marveled - wow! look at all the time Thompson has back there! I'm sure the LSU DB's were smothering the receivers most of the time which was why not much came from that time, but still... impressive.
