how was everyones watch party? We had a decent turnout down in Austin- 15 or so people, along with Brett Ringer's dad (wide receiver) and some current North Texas soccer players! We were the alumni group at Champions. Even had an alum who hadnt done anything in Austin come up to ask what was going on with the alumni association! Only wish the game was better!

That's great!! Especially for the first Austin event. I'm excited to hear about that group growing even more as the year goes on.

I counted right at 30 in Allen. We had a great mix of ages, including alumni and families, former players, student parents, etc. It was great hearing how loud the group is on big plays for the Mean Green. I like looking at the other restaurant patrons as they wonder what all the noise is about.

Looking at the prize drawing entries, we had 9 people that were newbies to the Allen watching parties.

I had 8 at my home watching party, but 3 of us live there so I am not sure they count.

Still, I did not count my 13 year old daughter who was on Facebook and Instagram the whole game.

GMG

Sounds like 9 how I count. We had a youngster sitting with his back to the screen and I counted him. No one lives at Rudy's, but two employees got off work before the game started and joined us for the entire game. I love the support we get from that place.

Thanks for organizing the Austin event. It was fun being surrounded by a bunch of Longhorn fans in a bar that did not have Longhorn Network. They were forced to watch the Mean Green and look for UT score updates on the ticker.

That had to be awkward.

Just the wife and I in Quito. Disappointed the alumni association didn't get the word out better.

Darn that Alumni Assoc. But, looks like the entire Quito contingent WAS in touch with each other! Ha! Go Quito Mud Dobbers....or whatever they are south of the south border.....Could you actually get the game to come in OK on line in Quito?

5 in Sugar Land, including houstonmeangreen & my father-in-law who graduated in 1954. Could have been 9, but the wives & my friend's HS age daughter all were no-shows.
