VB NT over Ball St

NT came back from a hard loss to the home team IUPUI yesterday with an easy 3 to 0 victory over a usually good Ball State.

UNT wins the tournament !!!!

North Texas beat Georgia State 3-0 and in so doing, won the tournament. North Texas, IUPUI, and Ball State each were at 2-1 but UNT's record of 7-3 in sets was better than Ball State's 6-3 and IUPUI's 6-4 so they win the championship. That puts the volleyball team at 7-1 on the year and winner of two tournaments.

I like the way the girls are playing but just wondering if this weak non- conference schedule will help NT win their first Sunbelt Conference Championship. Noticed WKU, MT and FIU are playing a much tougher schedlue right now, getting conference ready.

These three teams usually give us the most problems and wind up winning the championship year In and year out, just hope we're ready for them.

I would like to see volleyball win their first title, especially being the last year playing in the Sunbelt!
