It seems like during the game the commentators always mentioned that Lance is undersized. It doesn't seem size has much to do with being a quality back in the NFL, reference Warrick Dunn, Maurice Jones-Drew, Ray Rice, Darren Sproles, etc...

Injury did him in. He's still in a pretty good position, though. If he makes it to the practice squad, he's likely to see the active roster at some point this season, given the injury histories of Dallas' "proven" backs. If he doesn't make it to the practice squad, it'll be because he's given a chance on someone else's roster. Anyway, best of luck to Lance.
