I'm not crazy about this. It was just a couple of seasons ago that Stockstill had a 10-win season and took MTSU to back-to-back bowl games.

Maybe his successes then will be like Dickey's here...unable to capitalize on the momentum. You really do have to have a constant flow of money these days. Sadly, winning in probably only half the equation anymore for schools in our positions.

I liked the MTSU game. It was one of the few in the Belt that really interested me year in and year out.

Last two games for the Blue Raiders: Being blown out by us...and losing to an FCS at home. It won't sit well. I hope Stockstill can rally the team. If not, it'll be three losing seasons in a row.

Don't feel to badly for him, though. He's got Big Southern Dummy coaching pedigree from Florida State, Central Florida, Clemson, East Carolina, and South Carolina. He'll land on his feet, east of the Mississippi, in the SEC or ACC as a QB coach or offensive coordinator.

Dang blue raiders... I was really thinking about taking MCNeese in the pick ems challenge but did not dare to pull the trigger... props to coach Bill Lewis and Coach Andy Mac for predicting what I did not dare to do. They are way ahead out in front of the leaderboard there now

...now here is betting MTSU will find itself in next weeks EPSN bottom 10

There may be some negative nelly's on this here board but they the guys on the MTSU board take it to a whole other level right now:

I'm done with the entire university. I just finished filing a chargeback on my mastercard for the tickets. I explained to capitalone that I did purchase the tickets but that I didn't see anything close to what was reasonably expected. Not sure if she agreed, was having a good day, or noticed the 5 figures that I generate yearly, but she was glad to refund my money immediately. Everything MT in my house, scrubs to pens, was just put into my apartments trash compactor. Debated burning it all and having that play as the youtube when you go to firestockstill.com but have better ideas.
