I thought I read he had a tight hamstring and they were being cautious because he needed to be ready for the preseason games. Who knows what the actually story is, but I'll be watching for him tonight.

Probably accurate, that seems about the minimum. However probably $0 guaranteed if he is not on opening night roster.

That's the league minimum. So yes, it is correct, though he has to actually make the team in order for it to be valid. His payments end the minute he is cut.

When I did a fantasy football draft last night, Tanner was still listed as out, and not as questionable or doubtful, so I assume he won't play this weekend. From the bit I've gathered, he's done for a few weeks, but running backs have a history of recovering from hand surgery quickly and/or coming back before they're healed, so we'll see.
