So what's the best value for a TV set now, LED, LCD, Plasma or DLP? I'm still rocking out with my 56 inch Samsung DLP although my wife has a 46 inch LCD that is a better picture.

Plasma TVs tend to run a bit less expensive than their LED and LCD counterparts, but beyond that, it's personal preference and individual model differences.

On topic:

No, no TV upgrades. I bought a 37" Samsung LCD a few years back and it's perfect for the viewing distance I'm at. Besides, I'd rather throw the money at a desktop build or tablet right now.

Bad ass 13 inch Zenith 4 tube hybrid with Space Commander 600 remote. Its got Chromacolor bitches!!! Solid state components and a steel chassis. Straight panty dropper.

I'm not bragging but every tv I own is hanging on the wall. My 60" LCD in the living room, 40" in the bedroom, 50" in the man room, and 32" in the garage. Again, not bragging, just chiming in.

Also, I can land a plane, practice karate, have run many 5k races, did a triathlon, took my wife and kid out to eat the other night, saw a movie,have a deck on the back of my house, ran electric and hung ceiling fans in my garage, have beer on tap at my house, drive a jeep,and have season tix to the MEAN GREEN!

Do you still have a Mean Green themed garage or did you downgrade?

Also, haven't found a good reason to upgrade my 120" screen w/HD projector and 7.1 surround sound. I guess a 3D projector would be cool, but I'd have to start eating ramen noodles again.

My plan is to upgrade from a Mitsu 65" 3D DLP to the new 92" 3D DLP if certain things "fall my way". Things are looking very good at the moment...

You can't beat the value of the new DLP sets. With a decent calibration, the sets have beautiful pictures.
