One thing that I really felt we did well under the Dickey regime was build a VERY solid walk-on program. Names like Chris Hurd, Andy Brewster and Derrick Mendoza come to mind but there are so many more. I see this as a HUGE advantage for us in DFW due to the fact we offer a reasonable tuition as compared to the privates and also we can honestly say we have spots and you will get a full ride if you perform.

SInce we are still below the scholarship limit (thanks to Dodge) I am really interested to see the preferred walk-ons that show up this Fall. There ought to be some really good players in that group. For us to get this program where we want to be we HAVE to hit on all cylinders in our walk-on program! GMG!
