How did the game end up. Any info. on how our players did for the night (sacks, tackles, fumble recoveries, etc.?)

As far as score, the north blew out the south. The south scored as time ran out to make it somewhat respectable, but the final score was something like 38-16.

I don't have stats, but McDorman's name was called a lot. He probably wreaked more havoc than anyone else on either D-line. I would be surprised if he were not personally in on at least 5 or 6 tackles.

That is good news indeed. Can't wait to see Watson, McDorman and Sir Wallace in fall camp.

Nice job...great to these quality recruits being signed by Coach Mac and Company. recruiting 18 year.....along with their sometimes helicopter parents...is a tough job. Staffs certainly lose as often as they win in these recruit battles. One of the things that I like is that it seems Coach mac and Co. know a thing or two about turning a raw HS recruit into a solid college ball player.

Just look at all the transfers in D-1 football each year. Big name and 3-4-5 star recruits not seeing the time of day on the field at the college level, not making grades, not attending to team rules and getting in brushes with the law and kicked off, etc., etc. It's a carp shoot often with these kids...and they all think they will be all-pro for the Dallas Cowboys. hard to deal in that world, i am sure. BUT, UNT certainly needs to go after the highly rated recruits...and win some of those recruiting battles...if it wants to be a bowl team year in and year out in C-USA!

      Yes, as NT fans we have seen several years of this style play. But for other teams, and their fans, they don't really understand what is happening. Their team struggles and the game becomes difficult for them to score. They blame their own players and coaches, usually with no credit to us.

      Better, but not great. Rice/Memphis got 407K on a Friday night, so maybe...oh no, now we're up against the Tyson/Paul fight. We can never catch a break, hahahaha, but at least we have our ready-made excuse.

Buffer zone: The raised floor creates a separation between the fans and the court. Historic feature: The raised floor is one of the few remaining in the United States and contributes to the arena's historic feel. Unique feature: The raised floor makes Williams Arena different from other arenas and memorable for visitors. The raised floor is about two feet above the ground, which means that the first row of seats are below the court and fans are roughly at the players' knee level. Only head coaches are allowed on the court during play, except for officials and players who are actively playing. Williams Arena is one of the oldest basketball arenas in the country, having opened in 1928. The arena is home to the Minnesota Golden Gophers men's basketball team, which competes in the Big Ten Conference. It used to also house indoor football practice, tennis, indoor track, and hockey. The building was remodeled in 1950. Renamed in honor of Dr. Henry L. Teams are going to score much less than they normally do against us, and it's going to frustrate the heck out of their fans if they don't know anything about us except that we're "a good mid-major".

      ***OFFICIAL UNT vs. UTSA IN-GAME DISCUSSION***

      Even though I think we should win this game by two touchdowns, This games got me nervous. Hope our offense will be coming out pissed off from getting shut down offensively last week and lay it on em.
