Football clinic, that is. Here are the highlights, assuming the link works from my phone this time.

Excellent...worked great. Thanks for posting it. Looked like a decent but smaller crowd than last year's event. maybe they worked the ladies too hard last year! Ha! My bride would have returned for year two for her, but she was out of town. She'll be back next year. Said it was a lot of fun. Looked like the ladies of the Mean green were having a good time.

I think it is great that this event takes place. Thanks again for posting this.

We had a great time! The dance contest was hilarious! We have the best coaches at NT! They managed to put this video together and show it to us before the end of the clinic. (Also won some cool gear in the raffle!) I really respect and appreciate all the time and physical effort our players and coaches give for this game. Coach Mac ended our huddle up with "Mean Green Family" and I am very proud to be a member, Can't wait for the season to start!

That was an incredible video. Just goes to show what the Athletic Department can do. First class video of what appeared to be a First class event.

There were about 30 attendees. I think this was the smallest group since I've been attending (8 years, I think since DD had the first Football 101). Last year Hank Dickinson wanted to know why I hadn't graduated yet! LOL.. Needed more advertisement. I got an email since I am a MG club member and attended before. I never saw anything about it on meangreensports.com like I have in the past. We had a great time and I urge all of the ladies to go next year. You don't have to do any of the physical stuff if you don't want to. I' ll keep going as long as they have it. Guess I'm a career student!

that's too bad about the attendance numbers. hopefully they can get that fixed and moving the other direction. this looked like a really good time.

why don't they have something like this for the men? not necessarily a football 101, but a fantasy camp of some sort. i know texas tech has something like this because my tech friend was willing to pay the $1200 fee for me to go, so that he didn't have to go by himself. that money paid for your food and room for the weekend and a actual helmet and authentic jersey with your name on it. i'm not sure what you did there, i think you run drills, play a pick up game or something, tour the facilities and have a dinner with the coaches. this would be something i would pay a lot of money for and would be very interested in. also, i think the numbers that would attend this would be worth the effort and a good money maker. i know it wouldn't be attended like a ut version or even a tech camp, but i think there would be great interest in this.

does anyone else think something like this would work here, if the fee was a little lower?
