Aaaaaaand we're back. As many of you probably saw DPD shot a guy in south Dallas tonight after a foot chase. Funny backstory to this incident is that I was buying dope out of that house just six months ago. About two years ago I started buying from a guy in that house...then he got shot to death at the corner store by another dope dealer (the one they kept showing on the news where the "community" was gathered). So then I started buying from his friend...and put him in prison for a looooong time. Now, some new dude obviously took up selling out of there....and now he's dead. That's quite a curse if you ask me. Yet, I GUARANTEE it'll be back up and running by Friday night with some new scumbag inside.

Also heard there was some sort of fued. Gang related? The one guy that was yelling at DPD sure was color coordinated. But why'd they have to shoot him? he was un armed? etc etc.

The statement that I saw Brown give was pretty good. But then Carraway had to ask, on more than one occasion, was it necessary to shoot him, why not taser him.

Never mind that if you pull a taser or OC out at close range, and you lose that weapon, now you are incapacitated, and your gun gets taken and you get shot with it.

You fight an officer, the officer will win, no matter what he/she has to do.

Glad you stayed safe, Sarge! And, for me, I'm glad you are not in that area of work these days...promotion and all...well deserved and earned as it was.....but, tell me...what is it with a community that can all but riot over the shooting of a known drug dealer and thug? And, of course, blame the police for the shooting as if they were just choir boys sitting around at choir practice when the cops broke in??????

I just don't get it...the mother doing the "act" live and on screen was something to see...but it's a scene replayed way too many times.

Can we not let the investigation at least begin before we distort all the facts..."they shot him in the back" and just blame the police and riot? Can we just give it some time to play out, folks...please. I get the "mistrust" that some communities have of the police, but seems to me, this was a bunch of drug dealers and thugs...the community certainly knew that....

I mean no offense Emmitt....but how in the hell do you get into a drug house lol? You are the only friend I have that has done undercover but I have to ask... do you wear a Rastafarian wig and throw your voice (think "down by the beach.....boooyiiee!"? I saw the video footage of the people in that neighborhood and I have to think it wouldn't take much for ANYONE to stand out.

Great job on getting that guy behind bars....its only sad that what you said is true and the hydra just grows another head.

You are the only friend I have that has done undercover but I have to ask... do you wear a Rastafarian wig and throw your voice (think "down by the beach.....boooyiiee!"? First off, I'm a straight chameleon!!!

Second, dope dealers...the successful ones...are more small business owner than mindless thug. I communicate quite well when money is the motive.

Third, of the hours of footage that the media got yesterday you can rest assured that only the most ghetto of residents saw TV time. Articulate doesn't sell when you're broadcasting from "the hood".
