I believe Nunn plays for Boo Wiliams , Pollard ( UNT target/offer ) plays for MeanStreets

Benford took in the Nike Team Texas Elite vs Houston Hoops game . Team Texas is lead by maybe the best 2015 player in the nation , Elijah Thomas , to go along with several 6'3 - 6'5 sharpshooter. Got a good look at them last weekend. I don't think I've seen Houston Hoops play , but they are lead by Keith Frazier

Thomas had 36/20 in the win. Being looked at by Duke , UNC , Kentucky , etc.

There were probably 10 DI kids on the court so I'm sure all of them.

My best guess on who we might have the best shot at : Justin Jackson out of Houston or/and Matt McQuaid from Duncanville

Jackson has offers from Baylor, Texas, OU, Georgetown, Ohio State, etc., etc. . . . Is there a reason you think we'd actually have a good shot at him?

Hey , a man can dream can't he :)

Yes it would be a stretch and unlikely , but there is a good relationship there. Kid is homeschooled and doesn't seemed enamored with all the attention he is gettting.

Don't think Nunn is playing with Boo Williams this weekend. Played earlier with Upper City. You can view Nunn and Upper City against CP3 at the Queen City tournament. (Kid really needs to get in better shape to get more playing time.

I believe the game today between Houston Hoops and Team Texas Elite was the 16 and under squad. The 17 and under teams were in the consolation bracket but did not play each other. Anyway, a ton of talent on the HHoops team. I saw that Scott Drew of Baylor was there during a game yesterday.

      That is very subjective. Boise State or UNLV probably will get the G5 spot in the playoff over a one loss Army team. Louisville, SMU, Houston, Rutgers and Cincinnati left conference for greener pastures. So I don’t know who anointed the AAC as 5th, but the playoff committee isn’t listening to them. Army, a team brand new to the conference that came into the conference and dominated. They were independent juggernauts last year at 6-6 🙄. AAC is viewed as better than the MAC, CUSA and Sun Belt. But we certainly won’t be viewed as better than the reconstructed PAC 12 and right now it doesn’t look like we are viewed better than the current MWC.

      Football at The Dat next wrekend

      Don't if y'all know this or not.....but the last two years we've had Texas high school football games played in Louisiana. Both years the games have been at Turpin Stadium in Natchitoches. As a matter of fact, this year they hosted two games on the same day. (Daingerfield versus Newton, and Texarkana versus Port Neches Grove). Both games were last Friday.
