From just creeping on twitter, I learned he was checking out the dorms at UNT tonight, or was at the dorms. This speculative matter seems to have led to near fact. He's been chatting with one of the football players on twitter, and has followed a few UNT guys, and retweeted someone who said he'd look good at UNT. How he is coming, we obviously do not know. But, it looks like he's on the way here. Which is not surprising, considering his connection with Benford and Marquette, his girlfriend attending TWU, and him being from the area. This would be a great get, he was ranked 78 in the nation by ESPN in 2010.

Yeah...with him following four of our hoopsters, conversing heavy with Trice and retweeting this little gem, I'd say odds are he's Denton bound:

Not that it should be done in a harsh way, but I don't have a problem with a coach being honest with a kid and telling the kid that if he wants to play, he is going to have to transfer.

Is it kinder to leave the kid at the end of the bench for 4 years?

Scholarships are year to year, for the athlete and the school. Is anyone crying because TM will leave to go pro at the end of the year? No. And they shouldn't be. It's a 2 way street, as it should be.

I would have cried if Tony left after year one. When he leaves after year 2 I will get choked up but will not cry.

He came back this year and not many thought he would. What's to say he wouldn't again if a national championship were within sight?
