This is a good sign. Two area top 100 players and we're not even halfway through June. The CUSA jump hasn't changed things drastically but it certainly helps, and I imagine we'll win over a couple more recruits with impressive offer lists.

Still not sure how Tulane is dominating everyone in recruiting right now.

They hired a former NFL coach (Curtis Johnson) and SIGNIFICANTLY have committed financially to rebuilding that program in terms of assistants etc -- and a new on campus stadium appears to be on the horizon. They have a very good academic reputation and since it is private they can offer more dollar value on their degree (similar to SMU). They are now investigating the addition of a sports management degree. I think Hurricane Katrina really set them back and they really were fairly shocked when SMU got the Big East bid and have since righted their ship. I can see Tulane as a force to be reckoned with in C-USA.

A good Tulane article showing their recommitment to athletics: http://www.nola.com/tulane/index.ssf/2011/12/tulane_officials_say_commitmen.html

Best kicker in the state...maybe in the nation is a kid at Arlington Martin. He started in front of a senior that signed at TCU.

grogan's rivals page shows interest in us and a few more schools.
