I think all the photos look great. And I'm especially proud that North Texas is one of 'em. And that no other area university is included.

The sunBelt has been a good home to us, but GO C-USA. (even the name sounds patriotic)

You do realize that the master plan for their campus (along with that of Trinity University, the Tower of the Americas, and restoration of "La Villita", all in San Antonio) was done by the architectural firm of former North Texas boy O'Neill Ford (took drafting classes at North Texas State Teachers College starting in 1917 before getting a "certificate of architecture" from the International Correspondence School.

Of course, some may not like some of his architectural stylings (most of the houses he designed were so-called "Mid Century Modern"). He was Texas own Frank Lloyd Wright in using native materials and designs that fit buildings into the local landscape and culture. Think "Little Chapel in the Woods" and the Denton City Hall and Civic Center as far as Denton buildings.

Of course, some might not think so well of a man who has been described as instrumental in creating the modern ranch style house, but I'd have to consider him a "local boy made good". Here's a link from Mike Cochran, perhaps THE historian of Denton:

Not sure about the picture but having visited FIU at the opener last year I can testify their campus is impressive!
